I'm Randy. Founder of Cleared4Tees. And before anything else, I'm a pilot. 23,000 hours. Night freight, single pilot, in weather that had no business being flyable. Airliner captain, responsible for thousands of lives, tried to makeout what they are saying on HF on a crossing (Thank you CPDLC and SELCAL). More nights over the Atlantic than Columbus and Magellan combined. Over 500 hours in hot air balloons, because apparently the sky wasn't enough, I needed to slow down and actually float in it. I've waited curbside at 2 a.m. for the crew shuttle that forgot we existed. I've eaten crew food that no human should have to endure. I've done the dumb stuff early on and lived to tell about it, every pilot knows that story. "There I was. One turning, one burning..." When I started designing aviation shirts, I made one rule: nothing ships unless I've lived it, or wanted to(my P-51 time is a little thin and Orville and Wilbur were just to snobby to hang around). Every design in this collection came from a cockpit, a logbook, a layover, or a moment 35,000 feet above the ocean at 3 a.m. when you realize you're exactly where you're supposed to be. This isn't a print shop that discovered aviation. This is aviation that decided to make shirts. Welcome to Cleared4Tees.
